An i dea for a project I would want to present is something I thought of while taking "Youth in the media" with Ms.Roth last semester. It focuse around my rold in my family and sterotypes about black youth.
The kind of project i would like to have in my portfolio for this class is my own panting of city scapes about New York. From different sources, such as pictures, paintings, and my own view/ a picture i took of a place i like or have alot of memeories of in that place.
I'd like to incorporate a transmedia project into my portfolio to show my creativity. Maybe a compilation of short-movies that look at the issues faced in high schools; both personal and social. Sort of like the IFC Short Film hour. I think that this could benefit my academic career and I could use it for college purposes as well. I feel that this would be enjoyable and will keep me interested in my work.
I would like to do a short film on how I made it through high school. In doing this, I would include pictures of teachers,students, staff, friends and family. I think this project will show that I have learned, grown, matured, and excelled throughout high school.
My portfolio for the 12th grade portfolio will consist of a piece of work from each subject of my choice that I think best represents me. The portfolio will be presented in a(n) organized and orderly manner. This will show how I have grown as a person and student(senior) being of the first graduating class of Brooklyn Preparatory HS.
-THIS SEMESTER I WOULD LIKE TO DO PAINTINGS. I WANT TO LEARN THE PROPER WAY TO CONDUCT RESEARCH ON DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES, STYLES,AND PATTERNS. FROM THIS I WANT DEVELOP A SPECIFIC IDEA TO FOCUS ON AND PERSUE A PAINTING.

To start my project i would like to do something on FASHION......pieces i would provide is stuff like cotour pieces of other people work that inspire me , things i drew n i will provide runway fashion/n street wear...it will be a funn process n a learning experience for me!!!
I want to make an film about my life in brooklyn prep and how i have grown and my life after brooklyn prep and tell people howihave grown from nineth grade to 12th grade.
I would like to create magazine or video like magazine that was base on brooklyn prep. i would like to past teacher and the ones day. i would like visit and discuss their brooklyn prep journey. i it would apply history and english.
I would like to create a short movie about the teacher in NYC. People come to think that teenagers are loud, crazy,and out of control. I wound like to visit different schools and take the train, just to listen and see how teenager act in high school in the inter city.
I think that I would like to make art painting something that will represent myself, and life at Brooklyn preparatory for me. I want a painting of maybe a memory that we had in a classroom or in the schoolyard
